We are sure to catch a game or two, since Jacob and Justine both play soccer and Jacob also plays baseball. So when we are there a trip to a field is more usual than not. Of course, I always tell people that I grew up on a ball field because my two brothers both played baseball, I played Bobbette's, and my dad was a coach, and after the first couple of years, he coached teams that my brothers didn't play for. In addition to watching my niece and nephew compete on the field, I get the opportunity to play with Sammie, who is 2-going on ruler of the world. And now there is David, who is going to be a little charmer. One other activity that we like to do when visiting Hesperia is to go to the neighboring town of Adelanto and watch the Maverick's play. Sometimes we get to see former Cal State Fullerton Titan players on either the Maverick's or one of the visiting teams. My favorite thing to do in Hesperia is to visit with my sister and her family.
